API Development Lead with NodeJS, AWS & MongoDB Expertise

6+Months

Cockeysville, MD (Onsite 4x/week)

 

Availability to work on-site in Cockeysville, MD for four days each week

 

Key Requirements:

- Proficiency in Node.JS (Minimum 6 years of experience recommended)
- Technical leadership background, specifically in developing APIs using NodeJS
- Knowledgeable in AWS cloud services
- Competent in MongoDB database management
- Experience in Agile methodology as a hands-on Scrum Master
- Understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance is an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desirable Candidate Profile:

- The candidate should demonstrate extensive experience in crafting and managing APIs using Node.JS.
- A solid grasp of AWS and its services is required, indicating a candidate who can navigate cloud-based infrastructure efficiently.
- The role requires the ability to handle MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and performance within the applications.
- A hands-on approach to leading Scrum ceremonies and guiding teams through Agile practices is essential.
- While not mandatory, experience in the P&C Insurance sector will be highly regarded.
- The prospective Tech Lead must be able to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
