About Role

We're looking for a highly skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our team. You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support across a wide range of hardware, software, and networking systems. This role demands hands-on expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, servers, storage systems, and networking devices
  • Install, configure, and maintain PCs, peripherals, and client-approved applications across Microsoft, Linux, and Unix platforms
  • Perform break-fix services, IMACs (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes), and legacy system maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues across Tier 1 OEM products (HP, Dell, Toshiba, IBM)
  • Support network infrastructure from both operational and maintenance perspectives
  • Test and certify systems and applications to ensure compliance and performance
  • Deliver proactive customer support, including preventative maintenance and escalation follow-ups
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to internal service delivery procedures
  • Lead small-scale projects and mentor junior team members as needed
  • Uphold professional standards in communication, appearance, and service delivery

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience in desktop and infrastructure support across enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience with server and storage systems, document processing devices, and handheld technologies
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and perform under pressure
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality service

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, HP, CompTIA, Network+
  • Experience supporting legacy systems and enterprise-grade infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (all versions), handheld device management, and printer support
  • Project management experience in small-scale technical deployments
