Job Details

Job Title:- Associate Director, IT Service Management - Change and Release

Job Location:- Charlotte NC Hybrid

Long Term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Change & Release Modernization: Operate and significantly enhance Change and Release processes across all Global Technology and Data Teams.
  • Service Management Maturity: Collaborate with other IT Service Management teams to mature CMDB, Controls, Risk Management, and Service Reporting.
  • Strategic Focus Areas:
    • Define and publish essential Service documentation.
    • Conduct Service reporting and reviews (SLI/SLOs) with key stakeholders.
    • Enhance Ticketing and Workflow processes, particularly within ServiceNow.
    • Drive the adoption of CI/CD across Infrastructure Teams using Azure DevOps.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong relationships to ensure alignment and support for ITSM initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Proven Change & Release Experience: Practical implementation experience with Change and Release processes.
  • Agile Expertise: Experience with Agile methodologies and active Scrum management.
  • Infrastructure Knowledge: Strong understanding of all-around infrastructure technologies.
  • CI/CD & IaC: Prior experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code management, and governance.
  • Passion for Innovation: A drive to lead technological change and create a collaborative, safe environment for teammates.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, able to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Certifications: ITIL v4 and relevant Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster).
  • Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows & Azure infrastructures.
  • Leadership & Problem-Solving: Proven leadership and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities for complex ITSM challenges.
