JOB DETAILS:
Position:Jr. Java Developer
JOB REF#:
Duration:6+ Months (On-Going Contract)
Location:ONSITE - Plano, TX 75024
Pay Rate:$56.00 per hour (W2 Only)
This role is 100% ONSITE (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Collaborate with the development team to build and enhance Java-based microservices using Spring Boot
Contribute to the design and implementation of REST APIs and cloud-integrated features using AWS
Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews as part of an Agile team
Help debug and troubleshoot application issues across development and production environments
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and gain exposure to automated deployment processes
Learn and apply software development best practices including logging, monitoring, and code optimization
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
** Candidates will be required to take a TECHNICAL TEST in Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, Rest API, and AWS
** Must be able to interview ONSITE
3+ year of experience buliding and enhancing Java-based Microservices, using Spring Boot
Experience designing/implementing of REST APIs and cloud-integrated features using AWS
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
Strong debugging, troubleshooting of applications across development and production
Any experience with DevOps tools is highly desired, but not required
Excellent oral communication skills
