Job Description:
  • Builds and maintains applications for deployment, monitoring and operations, troubleshoots and resolves issues within AWS environments including network, security, storage, and compute-related problems.
  • Drive & lead technical decisions, design discussions, review artifacts and implementation of the platform / services.
  • Ensure Well-architected principles and engineering best practices are followed to build a secure, high-performing, resilient and scalable services.
  • Automate routine operational tasks, ensuring efficiency and reliability in day-to-day operations.
  • Implement security best practices to keep data safe and control who can access resources.
  • Manage code deployment and release via GitHub actions / Jenkins and help in troubleshooting issues with existing CI/CD pipeline.
  • Guide the team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
  • Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in Application support and Maintenance
  • 5+ years professional experience in AWS or other cloud architecture.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud Infrastructure and services.
  • 3+ hands on Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • 3+ years of programming in Python.
  • Strong experience in CI/CD pipelines and integration with in GitHub Actions / Jenkins.
  • Solid knowledge of cloud security practices and AWS IAM roles/policies.
  • Experience in designing / integrating REST APIs with third-party services.
