The Financial Systems Administrator is responsible for the management of the firm's Elite/3E financial time and billing system, tools, and ancillary software. The Financial Systems Administrator will serve as the team lead for supporting the Elite financial system and related technologies. This individual will ensure that projects and maintenance activities are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Supervisor: Director, Global Strategic IT Programs and Business Systems
Location: Based in the New York office with a minimum of three days onsite per week, or remote from any state in which the firm has an office presence.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with user account management in 3E, iTimeKeep, ChromeRiver
- Assist in day-to-day operations, primarily supporting Elite 3E and other business applications that integrate with Elite.
- Act as a liaison between the IT and Finance departments and work closely with Finance personnel to support the firm s financial systems.
- Provide high-quality financial and statistical reports to internal clients.
- Analyze and report on client, matter, and timekeeper performance.
- Assist with system balancing and data audit activities.
- Manage data related to new and existing clients.
- Perform quality control (QC) reviews of client information.
- Review new client data in Elite.
- Handle daily maintenance of the firm's financial, time, and billing systems.
- Perform data upload activities and oversee automated data hygiene processes.
- Support installations, upgrades, customizations, and optimizations.
- Participate in process improvement projects; identify and implement efficiencies to improve accuracy and/or reduce labor requirements.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes.
- Create test scripts and conduct/coordinate User Acceptance Testing.
- Collaborate with the IT Services Group to test software patches, upgrades, or regular system
Requirements:
- A successful Financial Systems Support Specialist must have knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- They should have experience in administering the Elite system or 3E, including testing software upgrades, using SQL Server Management Studio, and creating and running SQL queries.
- The Financial Systems Administrator is expected to accurately perform mathematical functions and possess the analytical skills necessary to interpret data correctly.
- A bachelor s degree in technology or 5+ years of experience in a related field is preferred.
- Three (3) years of experience in Elite user support is required, and experience in 3E system administration is preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
Company Description:
At the time of posting, the salary range for this role in New York is $160,000 (minimum) $190,000 (maximum). This range is based on a full-time work schedule and may vary depending on other locations. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus. The successful candidate s actual salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, training, skills, and market.
