Senior Vendor Relationship Specialist
Location: Parsippany, NJ (On-Site)
Duration: 3 Months (Temp To Perm)
Pay Rate: $39.14/hr on W2

Primary Characteristics
The Vendor Client Specialist Sr works independently to perform a wide range of vendor and customer support functions, focusing primarily on complex transactions and high-touch vendor relationships. This role serves as the primary liaison to ensure smooth processing of transactions up to the point of booking, maintaining strict adherence to service level agreements and turnaround times.

Essential Functions
Transaction Management
  • Act as the primary driver for transactions, coordinating efforts between Sales, Credit, and Operations to ensure efficient end-to-end processing.
  • Manage special or complex transactions and support new business initiatives for assigned vendor programs.
  • Prepare detailed written presentations and make informed recommendations within established credit authority guidelines and time frames.
Vendor Relationship Management
  • Partner with Vendor Services to educate and advise internal stakeholders on vendor characteristics, business needs, and servicing requirements.
  • Provide concierge-level service to assigned vendor partners, managing inbound transactional inquiries.
  • Participate in vendor program risk assessments, reviews, and new program rollouts in collaboration with Relationship Managers (RMs) and Account Managers (AMs).
  • Contribute to post-launch assessments (90-day reviews) for all new vendor programs.
Operational Oversight & Execution
  • Coordinate with vendors and end-user customers to obtain completed contract documentation.
  • Review complex and high-exposure applications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
  • Work with Sr. Account Managers and Credit teams to address unique requirements (e.g., state or municipal regulations).
  • Collaborate with Senior Documentation Specialists and Legal teams to ensure proper document version control and any necessary contract adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure compliance with all internal operational procedures.
Leadership & Mentorship
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to Senior Account Managers (SAMs) and Account Managers (AMs) to enhance performance and operational consistency.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of vendor finance, credit, and transaction management processes.
  • Proven ability to work independently on complex and high-value transactions.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in standard office applications (Microsoft Office Suite) and CRM or finance systems.

Training and Experience
  • 5+ years of related experience in vendor client services, operations, or financial services required.
  • Bachelor s degree preferred (Business, Finance, or related field) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Credit underwriting experience is a strong plus.
