IT Support Technician
Onsite 5 days per week - Greater Boston Area
Full Time

Our client is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support across corporate offices, retail locations, and field-based teams. This role is responsible for troubleshooting day-to-day hardware/software issues, managing user accounts and devices, and supporting ongoing infrastructure initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and can balance multiple priorities while delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders.

Job Description:
  • Provide end-user technical support for office, showroom, and field personnel (both in-person and remote).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networking, and mobile devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Support Windows 11, Office 365, and Active Directory environments.
  • Create and manage user accounts, groups, and security permissions.
  • Document resolutions, maintain asset inventory, and contribute to internal knowledge base.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Assist with IT project implementation, upgrades, and system rollouts.
  • Provide occasional off-hours/on-call support for retail operations.
  • Travel to local sites as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 2-5 years of hands-on IT support experience across desktop, network, and mobile technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and Active Directory administration.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service mindset.
  • Experience with IP-based phone systems and mobile device management (preferred).
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs when needed.
