Description: Our client is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 3

Position: Mid-Level Electrical Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Seattle or Tukwila, Washington

Duration: 12+ Months

Role Overview We are seeking a results-driven Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to support Wire Shops, Systems, and Test Labs. This role is ideal for a process-oriented professional with a passion for manufacturing efficiency, safety, and innovation. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with design configurations and build plans while integrating modern engineering methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize tooling and production processes
  • Lead manufacturing planning and ensure readiness for complex build activities
  • Conduct Design for Manufacturing and Assembly reviews and translate them into actionable work instructions
  • Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams to align technical solutions across engineering disciplines
  • Analyze design concepts for manufacturability and provide feedback to improve build strategies
  • Resolve technical challenges affecting cost, performance, or schedule
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and verify solutions meet production readiness
  • Document best practices and drive continuous improvement

Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
  • Hands-on experience with electrical or mechanical manufacturing and assembly sequencing
  • Familiarity with Boeing Manufacturing Systems
  • Proficiency with tools such as PDM, CAPP, CMES, MESci, EPARTs, and GOLDesp

Preferred Qualifications
  • Three or more years in a manufacturing or production engineering role
  • Experience leading projects or managing teams
  • Background in aerospace, space, or military electronics
  • Project management skills and experience with work package estimating.
