The QA Engineering Lead partners with developers, data engineers, and platform teams to diagnose issues at the code, API, and data layers; maintain test environments; and ensure quality gates are embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle. • Assess and improve tools: Stay updated on the latest QA tools and methodologies and implement them as needed

  • Collaborate with other teams: Partner with engineering, product, and other teams to ensure successful project completion and build a quality-driven culture.
  • Improve processes: Continuously identify gaps and opportunities to improve QA processes, methodologies, and efficiency.
  • Communicate and report: Produce status reports, communicate test results, and provide insights on product quality to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Establish metrics: Define and drive the adoption of quality metrics to measure test effectiveness and overall product quality.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation, including test cases, plans, and scripts.

Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test automation.
  • Testing Methodologies: Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Test Automation: Expertise in test automation libraries (e.g. unittest, PyTest, coverage etc.) and frameworks (DRF Test Suite, pytest-django etc.) and proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Testing Types: Experience with various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, load, API (Experience with REST API testing using Postman, or similar tools) And user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Tools: Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., JIRA), version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).

Education Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related technical field is typically required.
