Job Title: Buyer/Planner
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 12 Months with possibility of extension
Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Job Description:
Track/mitigate supply constraints
Develop and maintain demand supply projection models
Develop and maintain distribution resources planning models
Lead cross functional meetings to execute action plans
Evaluate warehouse nodes supply flow and target stocking levels
Provide MPS priority mix
Support EMEA and APAC order fulfillment
Analyze NPI and sunsetting SKUs and provide timeline model
Ability to data mine reports
Investigate inventory problems, find root causes, and deliver solutions with cross-functional departments
Lead continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives

Required Skills
  • A Supply Chain planner or Buyer/Planner for minimum of 5 years experience
  • Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Able to model supply projections, and build plans
Preferred Skills
  • Experienced with ERP/MRP systems
  • Self-starter, comfortable leading cross-regional and cross- functional meetings
  • Experience in the medical device industry
Education
  • Preferred college degree or equivalent
Required Testing: Excel test and composition
