Job Description:
As a Senior Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Solution Architect, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Oracle Cloud PPM solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud PPM applications, proven expertise in solution design, and proven track record leading multiple Oracle Cloud PPM implementations, from inception to go-live. As part of this role, you are responsible for identifying and implementing efficient, scalable processes that align with business goals.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Lead and execute Oracle Cloud PPM implementation projects, overseeing the entire lifecycle from planning to deployment and support.
- Establish and implement best practices for Oracle Cloud PPM solutions, including governance, risk management, and compliance.
- Engage with clients to understand their business needs, identify challenges, and transform them into robust, scalable solutions utilizing Oracle Cloud technologies.
- Design end-to-end PPM system architectures based on Oracle Cloud PPM applications, including Project Control, Project Costing, Project Contracts, Project Billing, Project Performance Reporting, Project and Task Management, Project Resource Management, and Grants Management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, HCM, SCM functional consultants, developers, and project managers, to integrate Oracle PPM solutions across the enterprise and ensure delivery within project timelines and budget constraints.
- Conduct detailed analysis of client requirements and develop comprehensive functional and technical designs, including current and future-state business process flows using Oracle's recommended methodologies.
- Offer expert advice on Oracle Cloud PPM best practices, lead global design workshops and presentations, and gather requirements from stakeholders to showcase Oracle Cloud PPM capabilities.
- Lead workshops, presentations, and training sessions with clients to ensure successful adoption and utilization of Oracle Cloud PPM solutions.
- Develop and maintain thorough documentation, including requirements, FIT/GAP Analysis, Key Design Decisions, Process Flows, Data Conversion Strategies, Functional Design Specifications, and RAID.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and automation within Oracle Cloud PPM.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic insights and recommendations that align with their business goals.
- Stay current with the latest Oracle Cloud updates, industry trends, and best practices to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION
- Proven experience (7+ years) as a Solution Architect, or similar senior consulting role specializing in Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions architecture.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on implementation experience designing and implementing scalable, and reliable Oracle Cloud PPM applications and functionalities (PFJ, PCC, PCL, PPM, PRM, PGM, PJB, and PDSC) with at least 5 end to end Cloud implementation projects.
- Experience leading and guiding clients with full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementation projects, including requirements gathering, leading fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in the development and deployment of complex solutions, including custom extensions and integrations.
- Expertise with business processes in PPM, SLA, including a flow from FIN, or SCM.
- Collaborating with FIN, HCM, SCM, and EPM leads in areas integrating with PPM applications.
- Experience working with C-level and mid-level client contacts, managing client interactions, and managing onshore and offshore resources.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments within a structured implementation methodology.
- Experience providing leadership and guidance to project team.
- Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions.
- Oracle Cloud certification(s) a strong plus.
- Prior experience or familiarity with the U.S. Public Sector is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience working with or supporting U.S. Public Sector clients is considered a strong asset.
