Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team onsite in Dover, DE. This position requires working onsite 5 days a week and is open only to W2 candidates. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development and hands-on expertise in developing and maintaining enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices

• Perform code reviews and troubleshoot software issues

• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC)

• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness

• Maintain documentation for applications and processes

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming

• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC, Security)

• Hands-on experience with RESTful web services and APIs

• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

• Knowledge of version control systems like Git

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, etc.)

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience working in government or regulated environments (a plus)
