Job Role Mainframe COBOL Developer
Location Omaha, NE (5 Days Onsite)
Job type: Contract
Duration: Long Term
Requirement:
Coding Test is Mandatory for this role.
- Should have experience in Mainframe Application Development along with strong hands-on Cobol, JCL, VSAM, Db2 and Mainframe Utilities CICS.
- Ability to design, code, unit test, turnover, implement and support the changes.
- Experience with Payments or Cards Domain (Good To Have)
Functional Skills:
- Strong ability to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specification.
- Ability to design, code, unit test, turnover, implement and support the changes.
- Writing and executing the unit test scenarios/cases to ensure the code quality and reliability.
- Deep understanding of all lifecycle components (code, test, deploy)
- Troubleshooting and debugging code to resolve technical issues.
- Optimizing application performance to ensure efficient use of software resources.
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
