Job Description:
IT Application Support Analyst Customer-Focused Role (Automotive Fitment Compatibility Application)
- The IT Application Support Analyst is responsible for delivering outstanding service and ensuring the smooth operation of the automotive fitment compatibility application, which plays a critical role in maintaining accurate vehicle part compatibility data. This role centers around providing timely, professional support to business users, resolving issues efficiently, and fostering a user-first approach to application performance and service.
Responsibilities:
Support & Service Delivery:
- Monitor the automotive fitment compatibility application to ensure it operates reliably and accurately. Respond promptly to any issues to prevent business disruption.
- Provide Level 2 support for functional and technical issues, collaborating with other IT teams when needed to ensure timely resolution.
- Take ownership of high-priority incidents, ensuring clear communication with users and driving issues to resolution.
- Analyze and resolve data, workflow, or process-related problems, helping users understand root causes and recommended solutions.
- Meet agreed service level commitments while maintaining a responsive and customer-friendly demeanor.
Customer Engagement & Issue Resolution:
- Work directly with business users to gather input, prioritize reported issues, and ensure a transparent and efficient resolution process.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the automotive fitment compatibility application, offering guidance and education to help users get the most from the tool.
- Document support procedures, issue resolutions, and user guides to ensure easy access to helpful resources.
- Identify ways to improve user experience and ensure the application continues to meet evolving business needs.
Requirement:
- A strong focus on customer service, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
- The ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable support for users of all backgrounds.
- Experience supporting business-critical applications, particularly those involving product, fitment, or compatibility data.
- A proactive, reliable approach to application support, with a dedication to resolving issues quickly and thoroughly.
