Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Kennesaw, GA. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Pay range: $38.44 - $46.44

Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of risk, audit and targeted assessments for Business Controls Executives by partnering with the leadership and their teams to apply subject matter expertise to support a culture of risk identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance and operational risks
- Solve problems analytically by applying a mixture of risk and technology expertise to perform impact assessments, identify root causes in support of the technology control activities, and drive risk reduction in the respective technology teams
- Monitor the health of audit issues through their lifecycle, including action plan development and validation through approval reviews
- Respond to Auditors / Risk Officers with accurate responses for assessments is of utmost importance
- Maintain progress mileposts
- Demonstrate accountability and ownership
- Drive timely decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input and when to act independently
- Communicate complex technical subject matter into clear, concise language suited for various audiences
- 5+ year's advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- 3+ year's of experience with audit, exam management, and/or compliance
- Strong PowerPoint Presentation skills, including preparing compelling presentations to senior-level executives
- Excel for reporting
- Understanding of technology controls and control frameworks
- Microsoft office
- SharePoint
- Any project management tools
- Strong communication and leadership skills, candidates are required to drive collaboration with teammates across organizations (Technology, Operations, Audit, GIS etc.) and with the management team to identify opportunities to improve control and reduce risk
- Produce executive level presentations in PowerPoint on tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of risk management/risk framework; ability to identify, escalate, and debate risk
- Excellent project management and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail, accuracy and understanding prioritization within an environment where majority of issues are a priority
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to coordinate across multiple groups, socialize across a matrix org
- Documentation and project management skills
- Self-starter, follows through, does not shy away from confrontation or engagement with more senior resources
- Ability to update/manage procedures and documentation
- Proven time management and organizational skills
- Strong collaboration and partnering skills with ability to positively influence and motivate others
- Ability to integrate and analyze data from multiple sources, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations
- Proven ability to execute with accuracy, precision, and attention to detail
- Proactive approach - ability to connect the dots, look across, and a love of problem-solving
- Proven ability to manage multiple and often competing priorities in a global environment; ability to drive routines, projects and programs with a track record of successful execution / change
- Ability to decompose complex issues and drive timely decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input or escalation
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of business ethics
- Any Risk or Audit certification (CISA, CISSP)
- Experience in a direct Audit role or Risk Management role
- Subject matter knowledge in technology and/or information security processes
- Prior business process management or control framework knowledge
