Location: Hybrid/Fort Worth, TX No Relocation Candidates must be onsite day one and go into the office three times a week.

We need A senior Capital Markets Data Architect to design, create, and manage the organization s data architecture, ensuring efficient storage, processing, and analysis of volumes of data. This role requires expertise in data management, knowledge of cloud platforms, relational database technologies, and data governance to build scalable and secure data systems that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions.

  • Work with development team to standardize ETL / ELT processes to ensure high-quality and accurate data flow across systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable data architecture solutions.
  • Work with others to ensure data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards are met for all data systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate database technologies, tools, and platforms (e.g., relational, NoSQL, cloud data storage, etc.).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data architectures that align with business needs and technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions.
  • Work with development team to standardize ETL / ELT processes to ensure high-quality and accurate data flow across systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable data architecture solutions.
  • Work with others to ensure data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards are met for all data systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate database technologies, tools, and platforms (e.g., relational, NoSQL, cloud data storage, etc.).
  • Create and maintain documentation for data architecture, data flow, and data management processes.
  • Monitor data system performance, identify issues, and optimize processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Stay up to date with emerging data technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the data infrastructure.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Technology team in Fort Worth follows a hybrid model where employees work in-office Tuesday through Thursday. Employees have the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. This schedule is subject to change based on organizational needs and policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong expertise in database technologies and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing ETL pipelines and working with data integration tools.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data privacy regulations, and best practices in data management.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with investment management platforms, reference data and vendor landscape a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
