RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer III in San Antonio. This is a contract-to-hire role and the candidate is expected to report onsite as necessary. This Quality Engineer III role requires a Data Warehouse skillset. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of data pipelines and customer data integrations across our enterprise data ecosystem. This role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing, CDP architecture, and automated testing frameworks.
Responsibilities:
* Design and implement test strategies for data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and CDP integrations
* Validate data quality, completeness, and consistency across multiple data sources and destinations
* Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product managers to define data validation rules and test cases
* Develop and maintain automated test suites for data warehouse and CDP components
* Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues, working with engineering teams to resolve root causes
* Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards
* Participate in code reviews, data model validation, and release readiness assessments
* Contribute to the development of data quality dashboards and reporting tools
REQUIREMENTS:
* Data warehouse experience
* ETL/ELT process experience
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
* Banking/financial institution experience a big plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
