Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.
At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for supporting successful design, analysis, development, testing, and manufacturing of tanks and structures for New Glenn second stage. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of New Glenn. In this role, you will work directly with our design, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful hardware integration by providing analysis of manufacturing nonconformance's and providing dispositions for as-built flight hardware. You will help develop, implement, and validate qualification, test, and manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems. You will help drive manufacturability into flight hardware design and directly support manufacturing organizations through hands-on floor support, communication, training, and documentation. Additional duties may require you to take ownership of hardware and equipment designs from concept through implementation, performing initial sizing and detailed analysis.
We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
