Data Stage Developer

Introduction:

We are seeking a talented Data Stage Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with ETL/Data Integration skills using IBM DataStage Designer, Director, and Admin. They should also possess expert SQL and Database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) along with proficiency in UNIX/Shell scripting.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using IBM DataStage
  • Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand data requirements
  • Optimize and tune ETL jobs for performance and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and ETL processes
  • Create and maintain documentation for ETL processes and data warehouse

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • Experience with IBM DataStage Designer, Director, and Admin
  • Expertise in SQL and Database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
  • Proficiency in UNIX and Shell scripting
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Aggregator transformation in DataStage
  • Knowledge of IBM InfoSphere Information Server
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
