Seeking a Customer/1 Billing Business Analyst with an energy utility background

Duration: 6-12 months
Work location: Waltham, MA or Syracuse, NY (hybrid-2-3 days a week)

Seeking a highly skilled CIS Billing Business Analyst with deep experience in the energy/utility sector to focus on system optimization and project implementation.

-This role will be the critical link between business needs (especially meter-to-cash) and technical teams, specializing in the Customer/1 (C/1) billing platform.
-The ideal candidate will translate complex regulatory and business requirements into functional specifications to drive accurate, compliant, and efficient customer billing processes.

Skills:
-Proven, hands-on exp. with the Customer/1 (C/1) billing module, including configuration and support.
-Strong understanding of the end-to-end meter-to-cash lifecycle for utility services (e.g., meter data management, rate application, billing cycles, payments).
-Exp. documenting functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for CIS enhancements or integration.
