RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Ballwin, MO that is seeking a Program Manager IV with a strong background in federal program oversight and CMMC compliance readiness. This role will lead critical remediation efforts across multiple business units, ensuring tools, processes, and operations meet the stringent requirements of federal contracts and cybersecurity audits. The Program Manager will play a pivotal role in preparing the organization for upcoming CMMC audits and driving long-term compliance strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead remediation initiatives to ensure federal compliance readiness, including CMMC certification
* Coordinate with Supply Chain, IT, Security, and Compliance teams to operationalize risk management and audit preparation activities
* Oversee program execution, managing scope, timelines, and deliverables using MS Project
* Partner with external consultants during the transition phase, then assume full ownership of program delivery
* Drive the separation and organization of tools, processes, and data systems to align with government requirements
* Ensure program objectives are met and reporting is delivered to leadership in a clear and timely manner
* Act as a trusted liaison across internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience managing federal compliance or CMMC-related programs
* Strong program/project management skills (70% program oversight / 30% compliance execution)
* Experience working cross-functionally with technical and business teams
* Strong remediation and risk management expertise
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have:
* Program management certifications (PMP, PgMP, or equivalent)
* Experience supporting SLED (State, Local, Education, Defense) customers
* Exposure to federal contracting environments or subcontracting arrangements
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
