Archer Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Archer Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in implementing, configuring, and enhancing RSA Archer GRC solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance frameworks and extensive experience designing scalable, business-driven Archer workflows and integrations.



Key Responsibilities

Archer Solution Design & Implementation

  • Design, configure, and deploy RSA Archer GRC applications, including workflows, data models, dashboards, and reports.

  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of GRC principles, frameworks, and methodologies to build effective and compliant solutions.

  • Integrate Archer with external systems using APIs, data feeds, and connectors.

  • Develop scalable configurations aligned with business processes and regulatory requirements.


Project Execution & Delivery

  • Manage project plans, deadlines, budgets, and resources for Archer implementation or enhancements.

  • Identify project risks and issues, ensuring timely mitigation and communication.

  • Track progress to ensure smooth, on-time delivery of all project milestones.


Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with business users, compliance teams, risk groups, and technical teams to capture requirements and translate them into Archer configurations.

  • Provide end-user support, system training, and documentation.

  • Regularly communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and leadership.


Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated with emerging trends, new features, and best practices within the GRC and Archer ecosystem.

  • Recommend improvements for workflows, data quality, integrations, and user experience.




Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience with RSA Archer GRC implementation.

  • Strong understanding of GRC methodologies, regulatory frameworks, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, SOX, PCI, GDPR, HIPAA).

  • Experience configuring Archer applications, DDEs, data feeds, access controls, and reports.

  • Expertise in Archer integration, data migration, and solution customization.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience supporting end-users and interacting with stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently in complex, fast-paced environments.
