Job Details

In this role you will work alongside the CTO, owning architecture, shipping core features, and contributing across the stack-from infrastructure to AI. This is a high-impact founding role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, thinks broadly, executes deeply, and knows when to build fast versus when to build for scale.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end development across backend, infrastructure, devops, and AI
• Partner directly with the CTO and co-founders to drive architecture and ship features
• Translate feedback from enterprise users into actionable product improvements
• Collaborate with a distributed engineering team to ensure alignment and velocity
• Shape product direction through direct involvement in customer and investor meetings
• Design scalable systems using Node/TypeScript (open to Python/Kotlin), Heroku ? AWS with Terraform/IaC
• Build and experiment with LLM workflows, including prompting, embeddings, and agent orchestration
• Help define long-term engineering culture, tooling, and technical direction

Requirements

• BS in CS
• 5-15+ years of professional engineering experience
• Startup experience, ideally as a founding engineer or early technical hire
• Full-stack engineering skills with experience building and scaling production systems
• Comfortable working across ambiguous, zero-to-one environments
• Hands-on familiarity with LLMs, agentic tools, and AI-first product development
• Experience with scalable backend (Node/TypeScript; pent to Python/Kotlin)
• Terraform infrastructure experience + Cloud (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Heroku, or other)
