Analog Devices is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer in our San Jose, CA location.
The ideal candidate will have the following requirements:
- Previous experience developing, implementing, and managing ISO14001, and/or ISO 45001 EHS Management systems, preferably within a manufacturing or related environment.
- A relevant technical degree in Engineering or EHS, with at least 2 years of experience in areas related to health and safety.
- Good knowledge of safety legal requirements and best practices in the field.
- Previous experience conducting effective and engaging training.
- Excellent computer and verbal/written communication skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage safety procedures and develop/present training including fall protection, lockout tagout, electrical, and machine safety programs.
- Implement and manage a contractor work permit system with the related departments
- Support site staff in developing safety-aligned work plans for complex tasks involving employees and contractors.
- Lead, train and develop the on-site emergency response team.
- Assist with the maintenance of the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management system to exceed regulatory, corporate and industry requirement (ISO14001/ISO45001). Coordinate related internal audits and inspections and annual risk assessments.
- Perform periodic evaluations/audits of the site and safety programs to ensure compliance with safety plans, policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support the investigation of the root cause of safety-related events and ensure the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Present technical information to the management team.
- Be a key partner in a positive, proactive, and integrated EHS culture.
