IT Support Technician II - Manufacturing Environment- 100% ON-SITE
Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician II to provide advanced desktop and infrastructure support in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to support a wide range of devices and applications, including niche systems with limited documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person support.
  • Provide Level II support for desktops, laptops, printers (including Zebra), iPads, iPhones, scanners, and tablets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in both office and production floor settings.
  • Utilize SCCM, PDQ, and other tools for software deployment, imaging, and patch management.
  • Manage Active Directory tasks such as user/group creation and permissions.
  • Support and maintain mobile and desktop devices, including Windows OS and enterprise applications.
  • Document issues and resolutions thoroughly; contribute to knowledge base articles.
  • Assist with IT projects and process improvements.
  • Mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of corporate IT desktop support experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and application troubleshooting.
  • Experience with SCCM, WDS, MDT, PowerShell, and remote management tools.
  • Familiarity with label printers (Zebra, Brother, Printronix, Labeltac) and MFPs.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.
  • ITIL Foundations certification or experience with ITSM/ITIL practices.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
