Position Contributions to Work Group:
Internal Manufacturing Quality in Fuel Systems - focus on machining processes
Typical task breakdown:
- Problem solving, corrective actions: lead/support investigations into quality issues (scrap/rework/customer complaints), develop and implement corrective and preventative actions, Use quality tools like 8D, fishbone, and FMEA
- Process monitoring/continuous improvement: use data and risk analysis to direct actions, collaborate with small business team (manufacturing engineers, operations) to improve process capability and reduce variation
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze quality data (e.g., defect rates, process capability, SPC charts), Prepare reports for management and cross-functional teams, Track KPIs such as First Pass Yield, internal and external PPM
- Training and Support: train operators on quality standards and inspection techniques, support cross-functional teams with quality-related expertise

Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: 5 years plus 3 years of internships
- Degree requirement: bachelor s in relevant field, master s 3 years plus internships
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $42.00 - $43.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
