Description: We're seeking a highly motivated Senior Digital ASIC Design Engineer to join our cutting-edge team focused on advancing digital integrated circuit technologies. In this role, you'll design and implement high-performance ASICs from RTL through synthesis, collaborating across disciplines to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions in diverse application domains.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex digital ASIC architectures using advanced technology nodes.
- Translate system requirements into efficient, scalable hardware designs.
- Own the ASIC design flow from RTL coding through synthesis and functional verification.
- Analyze simulation outcomes and propose design optimizations.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks at the system level.
- Lead multi-engineer tasks, report project progress, and coordinate cross-functional efforts.
- Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and constructive feedback.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in digital ASIC design.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL.
- Solid understanding of digital system architecture and front-end ASIC design methodologies.
- Experience using industry-standard tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys) for simulation, LINT, and synthesis.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience working independently on complex challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with secure hardware architectures, including cryptographic modules or tagged processors.
- Proven track record of successful tape-outs at advanced process nodes.
- Experience leading and managing engineering teams.
- Familiarity with embedded systems or microprocessor programming.
