RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a DBA (Neo4J or Cockroach) AWS in Westlake, TX.
Responsibilities:
* Build, configure, and support Database Cloud Infrastructure in AWS using industry standard deployment tools
* Writes clear, concise, well organized user documentation to maintain standards and procedures
* Work with customers in gathering technical requirements for data migration needs
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Equivalent
* 10+ years of IT database experience
* Experience in configuring and supporting of the monitoring and alerting tools like Datadog, AWS CloudWatch for proactive detection
* Good experience in production support, capacity management and maintenance of high availability & disaster recovery database systems for the large-scale databases
* Should have working knowledge of Agile practices
* Requires in depth knowledge on supporting and troubleshooting Databases like Cockroach, DB, Neo4j, Azure, SQLMI, Azure MySQL
* Should have a good understanding on AWS cloud services like EC2, S3, CFT, EBS, IAM, AWS CLI
* AWS skills
* Neo4J
* DB expertise
* Should be open to working in shifts, on call and weekend change management tasks
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, including a wide range of architectures and technologies
* Establishing strong, reciprocal relationships with business and technology partners across the business
* Ability to quickly diagnose the problem areas, Investigate and resolve user raised Incidents, Problem management and service requests
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
