Job Details

Role: Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: Long Term

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Ops, Site Reliability Engineering, or DevOps
  • Solid grasp of Linux, networking fundamentals, and systems management
  • Proficiency in at least one of: Java, Python, or Go
  • Experience managing and scaling distributed systems across public, private, or hybrid clouds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and Kubernetes orchestration
  • Awareness of security principles encryption, key types, exchange protocols
  • Understanding of SRE best practices: monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis, and automation
  • Strong collaboration and architectural communication skills

Role Highlights:

  • Work closely with product teams to engineer resilient infrastructure
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, and monitoring
  • Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot production & staging environments
  • Drive capacity planning, disaster recovery exercises, and scale testing
