Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities: - End-to-end management and delivery of a material change for a project of high complexity across multiple departments within a single business unit
- Facilitate Agile Scrum Master and Waterfall service deliveries as a servant leader, lead and direct the work efforts of resources that are functionally aligned as part of the project team
- End-to-end integration of various work streams in order to deliver the intended project solution
- Manage project scope
- Lead the daily meetings of the service engagement project team and partner with the portfolio manager owner to lead the team
- Remove impediments to the ability of the team to deliver and is keenly focused on the activities and progress of the delivery service team
- Timeline and budget/expenses
- Obtain and align resources to key project roles; establish clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities
- Oversee/manage/lead project execution, integration and implementation
- Risk management and mitigation planning
- Readiness/change adoption/stakeholder management
- Quality assurance, ensure that all applicable change requirements are satisfied
- Act as the primary point of contact and integration for the project
Requirements: - Educational background and experience in project management or business management or associated area
- Strong project management skills
- Agile Scrum Master skills
- Waterfall delivery methods
- MS Project, MS Excel and MS Power Point
- Ability to work with others and manage disparate teams globally
- Ability to manage the successful execution of technical solutions whether by a single team or multiple teams
- Proven track record in a similar role
- Good interpersonal skills; positive attitude; team player; flexible
- Able to face off to business and technology leaders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to lead meetings, follow-up, negotiate and resolve ambiguity
- Keen attention to detail and strong sense of ownership and accountability for work
- Motivated to work closely and cooperatively with other team members of varying levels of seniority and experience
- Self-starter and have the ability to work with little to no supervision
- Knowledge of programs and projects frameworks
- Experience of large-scale complex projects
- Managing matrix resources

Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94
