Job Details

Piper Companies is looking for a VoIP Network Engineer to join a cutting-edge telecommunications and networking team supporting Tier 1 carrier-grade environments. The ideal VoIP Network Engineer will work Eastern or Central Time Zones hours in a fully remote role, while supporting next-generation VoIP and network technologies in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities for the VoIP Network Engineer:
  • Configure and integrate VoIP and IP networking products in both lab and production environments
  • Lead extended lab evaluations of new software and hardware to support innovation and deployment readiness
  • Provide critical support for high-impact projects, including fault isolation, issue triage, and resolution
  • Collaborate directly with support and product teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Be at the forefront of telecom innovation while working fully remote in EST/CST hours.

Qualifications for the VoIP Network Engineer:
  • 6+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, ideally supporting Tier 1 carriers in lab and production environments
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
  • Strong expertise in Layer 3 routing protocols and IP networking
  • Hands-on experience with VoIP technologies and how they interact with Layer 3 networks
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred

Compensation/Benefits for the VoIP Network Engineer:
  • Salary Range: $115,000 - $145,000 annually
