Project Overview
Mako Utilities client is seeking an experienced Oracle Utilities Cloud Consultant to support a critical digital transformation initiative focused on customer engagement, asset management, and field service operations. The consultant will play a key role in implementing and integrating Oracle Cloud solutions, specifically Customer Cloud Service (CCS), Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS), and Oracle Field Service (OFS), across a multi-utility environment.
Your Role
You will lead or support full lifecycle implementation efforts-including configuration, integration, testing, and post-go-live optimization. This role requires collaboration with business users, internal IT teams, and third-party partners to ensure seamless data flow and system performance across platforms such as ERP, GIS, and AMI.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive implementation and optimization of Oracle CCS, WACS, and OFS modules
- Customize and configure Oracle Utilities Cloud applications based on functional requirements
- Lead workshops and training sessions for end users and technical teams
- Collaborate with integration partners to ensure connectivity with ERP (e.g., SAP), GIS, AMI, and other platforms
- Develop detailed documentation: functional specs, process flows, and training materials
- Support change management and provide post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with internal data governance, security protocols, and industry regulations
Required Experience
- 5+ years in Oracle Utilities, including at least 2+ years with Oracle CCS, WACS, and OFS (cloud versions)
- Deep knowledge of utility processes (customer service, billing, asset lifecycle, and field operations)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST API integrations
- Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and SaaS solution models
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Utilities Cloud Certifications (CCS, WACS, OFS)
- Experience in Agile or Scrum-based delivery environments
- Familiarity with utility data standards: CIM, ISO, NERC
