They're seeking a skilled and hands-on Mechatronics Technician to support the assembly, testing, and deployment of robotic systems used in automotive environments. This role requires a combination of mechanical, electrical, and automotive expertise with a focus on field-readiness and system reliability. You'll work closely with engineering and field teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of our systems.

They're seeking a skilled and hands-on Mechatronics Technician to support the assembly, testing, and deployment of robotic systems used in automotive environments. This role requires a combination of mechanical, electrical, and automotive expertise with a focus on field-readiness and system reliability. You'll work closely with engineering and field teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, wire, and test robotic systems and subsystems
- Perform system-level diagnostics, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Support robotic deployments in the field, including customer site setup and go-live
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve integration and performance issues
- Maintain configuration records and deployment documentation
- Participate in product testing, data collection, and root cause analysis
- Provide technical feedback to improve product design and reliability
- Operate fabrication equipment and tools for light machining and metalwork as needed
Qualifications:
- Hands-on automotive experience, especially with wheels, tires, or service systems
- Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and diagnostic procedures
- Proficiency in reading mechanical and electrical schematics
- Experience with wiring, cable routing, and hardware integration
- Familiarity with fabrication techniques including machining, welding, or sheet metal work
- Comfortable working in a lab and field environment
- Working knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks or Onshape preferred)
- Familiarity with Linux and command-line utilities is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or on cross-functional teams
- Ability to travel up to 75% as needed for deployments and testing
