Position Overview:
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our IT Field Services team. Theis position is on-site and customer-facing, providing direct technical support to end users. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with desktop support, and excellent communication abilities in a Windows-based environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our IT Field Services team. Theis position is on-site and customer-facing, providing direct technical support to end users. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with desktop support, and excellent communication abilities in a Windows-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, install, and maintain desktop hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Perform hardware repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
- Provide password resets, account support, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Document support activities and manage tickets through a service desk system.
- Deliver responsive customer service and escalate unresolved issues when necessary.
- Support mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
- Assist with imaging, deployment, and migration projects.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with desktop deployment, imaging, and hardware support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking.
- Familiarity with user account management and Active Directory.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with service desk/ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN environments and printer support.
- Technical certifications such as A+ are a plus.
- Junior-level candidates with strong technical knowledge and interpersonal skills will be considered.
