1. Graduate degree or equivalent experience.
2. Experience in the social sciences, preferably specializing in criminal
justice, juvenile justice, or behavioral sciences.
3. Project management experience.
4. Conducting research and evaluations using public health or justice
system administrative data.
5. Demonstrate a broad understanding of the public health and
criminal justice systems and the provision of social services,
especially as it related to community-based services for at-risk or
system-involved youth.
6. Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively, respond to
stakeholders needs, and regularly update stakeholders about
project milestones in similar projects.
7. Demonstrate an ability to analyze information from disparate
datasets and qualitative information to derive a comprehensive
understanding of the research topic.
8. Demonstrate an ability to meaningfully engage community members
and youth in the planning process.
9. Outstanding oral communication skills, including public speaking.
10. Outstanding written communication skills, including writing complex
documents
