Job Details

Qualifications - Needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in a general field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the engineered wood products industry
  • At least 5 years of sales experience
  • Experience or strong background in commercial construction and engineered wood products
  • Strong background in real estate transactions, public contracting, and contract negotiations
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, execute sales plans, and analyze markets
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; EWP design software experience a plus
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to expand market share in commercial, industrial, and mass timber segments
  • Build and maintain relationships with developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and distributors
  • Drive demand via product specification and industry stakeholder education
  • Analyze market trends and identify new distribution opportunities
  • Support regional partners to grow market share and profitability
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to secure key accounts
  • Monitor competitive activity, pricing, and order trends for strategic positioning
  • Participate in trade events, plant tours, and marketing initiatives
  • Set objectives and develop action plans to improve long-term sales and margin growth
  • Provide quotes, manage distributor effectiveness, and support development of marketing tools
