Job Description:
Intro:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Program Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee quality assurance and quality control reviews, manage design documentation, and ensure regulatory, legal, and security compliance throughout the engineering design process. You'll collaborate with internal teams-including Engineering, Power and Cooling (PAC), Security, Controls, and Commissioning-as well as external design consultants to improve quality and processes.
Job Description:
As a Quality Assurance Program Manager, you will manage project documentation workflows, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple projects. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance to quality engineers and assisting with complex decision-making.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating engineering and architectural specifications, reviewing design drawings, and overseeing permit submittals. You will also assist design managers in preparing documentation for various design phases and construction handoffs.
Maintaining confidentiality and proper version control of project files is essential. You will lead training initiatives for internal and external stakeholders, develop reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and actively drive process improvement efforts.
You will collaborate with technical teams to produce high-quality documentation. Additionally, you will conduct audits to ensure adherence to internal processes and help refine quality standards.
Must-Haves:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
? 4+ years of experience in design, construction, or project management.
? Previous experience in reviewing design documentation for accuracy and compliance.
? Strong organizational and analytical skills, including writing technical specifications.
? Ability to read and interpret multi-disciplinary design specifications and drawings.
? Proficiency in project management software, including Bluebeam, Procore, Smartsheet, and Salesforce.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
Technical Skills: Experience in design/construction management software such as Autodesk BIM360, Bluebeam, and Procore.
Project Knowledge: Understanding of design/construction life cycle sequencing and project schedules.
Documentation Skills: Familiarity with managing large-scale engineering project files.
Preferred: Experience with Data Center engineering, SharePoint, and collaborative management systems.
