Identity & Access Management (IAM) Application Onboarding Analyst
Overview
We are seeking an IAM Application Onboarding Analyst to support the integration of applications into SailPoint ISC. This role will be responsible for gathering and documenting business and technical requirements, coordinating with application owners, and ensuring successful onboarding of applications to SailPoint for centralized identity governance. The analyst will also leverage Power Apps and SharePoint to streamline intake, tracking, and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with application and business owners to gather requirements for SailPoint onboarding, including access models, entitlements, roles, and technical connection details.
Document requirements clearly and translate business needs into SailPoint configurations and workflows.
Collaborate with IAM architects, SailPoint developers, and operations teams to validate onboarding requirements and support implementation.
Create and maintain intake forms, dashboards, and workflows using Power Apps and SharePoint to improve visibility and efficiency of the onboarding process.
Track onboarding status and provide updates to stakeholders on timelines, dependencies, and risks.
Assist in testing and validation of SailPoint integrations, access requests, and certifications.
Ensure applications are properly cataloged, requestable through SailPoint, and aligned with compliance and security standards.
Contribute to entitlement rationalization efforts by analyzing access patterns and simplifying role/entitlement design.
Provide ongoing support for application owners, answering onboarding-related questions and resolving issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2 4 years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) or application onboarding projects.
Knowledge of SailPoint or similar Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) tools.
Strong skills in Power Apps and SharePoint to design forms, workflows, and dashboards.
Experience gathering business and technical requirements and documenting processes.
Strong communication skills with ability to work across business and technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple onboarding projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience onboarding applications to SailPoint or another IGA platform.
Familiarity with common connection methods (e.g., SCIM, REST APIs, AD, databases).
Understanding of access models (roles, entitlements, policies) and compliance requirements.
Experience with Microsoft ecosystem (Power Automate, Power BI, Teams) to enhance collaboration and reporting.
