SQA Analyst

A recognized health insurance company in Tennessee is currently seeking an SQA Analyst to join their team in Chattanooga.

***This is a Hybrid position requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***

***This is W2 role. No 3^rd parties!***

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements and identify gaps/missing information


• Estimate small to medium projects using any one or more estimation techniques


• Derive Scenarios for testing


• Design test case using test design techniques


• Perform testing utilizing different testing techniques


• Execute and report results for assigned areas of the project


• Assist in resolving the problems identified by the team members


• Report the work completed to the reporting manager effectively and provide complete visibility to all stakeholders


• Work with business/UAT teams to support UAT activities


• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) or minimum 2 years in the SQA Analyst I role


• Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Business, Education or equivalent work experience required


• Knowledge of Functional Automation tools and Performance Automation tools


• Experience testing Relational Databases and creating SQL queries


• Knowledge of quality assurance and testing methodologies


• Experience testing applications where no GUI testing was involved; all testing was back-end processing, file processing, and/or interfaces between systems


• Familiar with processes and procedures using IT industry standards (i.e., ITIL, COBIT, IEEE, etc.)


• Knowledge and working experience with Test Automation Tools selenium with Java and test management tools Azure DevOps (ADO) and ALM


• Working knowledge on healthcare domain


• Intermediate proficiency at establishing testing strategies, developing test plans, and use of testing tools

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Unix and Mainframe operating systems
