Senior IT Specialist

What you'll do:
As a Senior IT Specialist you'll participate in reviewing current processes and metrics that support operational effectiveness. As the Senior IT Specialist, you'll develop artifacts (documents, dashboards, process flows, code reviews)that accurately and completely describe the current state processes, practices, and/or metrics. You'll engage with IT, Product, and the Business subject matter experts as needed to capture relevant insights and confirm the understanding of current practices through the process and documentation review with those subject matter experts.
  • Coordinate and complete all assigned projects with minimal supervision, with the expectation of setting and meeting deadlines, through effective communication with stake holders on project status reports, as well as identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Completes assigned artifacts that are accurate with a high level of quality.
  • Leverage basic understanding of Microsoft Office & Diagramming Software (e.g. Lucid, Visio, etc.) while also demonstrating strong process & data analysis skills.

What you'll need:
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
  • Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Intermediate process & data analysis skills.
  • Entry level to intermediate experience in analyst of a specific IT domain (Data Analysts, Quality Assurance Analysts, Product Owners/Managers, Finance Analysts, or Business Systems Analysts).
  • Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.
