Job Title Junior Security Analyst
Location 100% Remote, Some travel onsite for meetings (about 2 weeks per year - Must be comfortable working EST time zone hours)

Job Description :-
Required Skills for this position:
- Ability to communicate vulnerability information to non-security personnel
- Working knowledge of web applications
- Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL
- Strong understanding of networking (Nmap tool, Wireshark, and vulnerability scanning)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience performing searching in SIEM
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
- Experience with NIST 800-53
Preferred Certification:
- SECURITY +
Daily duties / responsibilities:
- Vulnerability scanning and coordinate remediation with responsible teams
- Deploy and manage edr
- Review firewall requests
- Research and assess newly released vulnerabilities
- Assist with incident response and investigation
- Assist with grc assessments
- Create alerts in siem based off data from various security tools
