Job Title: Workday Data Analyst
Duration: 6 Months (Tentative)
Location: Worcester, MA 01605 (Remote)
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Workday Data Analyst to support the successful migration of data from legacy systems to Workday. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) operations and hands-on experience with Workday Data Gathering Workbooks and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) tools. This role is critical in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and smooth integration into Workday.
Responsibilities
Execute ETL operations to migrate data from legacy HR systems into Workday while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Collaborate with technical and functional teams to define data migration requirements using Workday Data Gathering Workbooks.
Design, configure, and run EIB templates for automated data uploads and transformations.
Cleanse, validate, and normalize data for compatibility with Workday s data models and business rules.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve system performance and user experience.
Conduct thorough testing, validation, and troubleshooting of data transfers, resolving anomalies as needed.
Create reports, dashboards, and documentation to track progress and measure migration success.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in data analytics or ETL/data integration roles.
Strong expertise with Workday Data Gathering Workbooks and EIB configuration/troubleshooting.
Solid background in data mapping, transformation logic, and bulk uploads into Workday HCM.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to translate complex data models into clear business/technical solutions.
Preferred
Experience with Workday Studio, calculated fields, and advanced integration tools.
Knowledge of data privacy standards and compliance related to employee data.
