Required Skills & Experience
- Several years of experience in infrastructure engineering, system administration, or a related role
- Proven expertise with both Windows and Linux server environments
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Hands-on experience with enterprise storage technologies (e.g., Dell EMC, Pure Storage)
- Experience managing and optimizing virtualization platforms (VMware)
- Solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices
Desired Skills & Experience
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA Server+, VMware, or related credentials
- Knowledge of data protection, archiving, and tiered storage strategies
- Familiarity with automation tools (scripting and configuration management)
What You Will Be Doing
Infrastructure Design & Operations
- Design, deploy, and run scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions
- Administer servers, storage, and virtualization platforms through proactive maintenance, upgrades, and patching
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions aligned with business continuity objectives
Storage & Systems Management
- Manage enterprise storage platforms (SAN, NAS), ensuring performance and reliability
- Monitor storage utilization, capacity, and performance, implementing improvements as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, storage, and network issues
Collaboration & Optimization
- Partner with IT and development teams to support deployments, performance tuning, and system optimization
- Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools
- Document infrastructure designs, procedures, and operational workflows
Incident Response & Governance
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, and change management processes
- Ensure infrastructure compliance with IT security standards and best practices
