We are searching for multiple skilled Software Engineers to join a huge project for our Fortune 500 fintech client. You will make a key impact on the largest non-profit foundation in the US, backed by a fintech powerhouse. This team is continuously modernizing and adding to their service offerings. If you are interested in a role where you can be hands on with both front end (Angular) and backend (Java) development and want to feel good about what your work is going towards, this is the team for you.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $60 - $65 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated Full Stack Engineer to join a new team focused on upgrading an existing platform. As a team member, you will develop and influence innovative solutions that meet functional, performance, scalability, and reliability requirements. You will work within a high-functioning Scrum team to drive the development of new APIs. Additionally, you will be encouraged to take end-to-end ownership of team commitments and contribute to the team's success beyond completing your individual tasks.

Bachelors in Computer Science (or equivalent degree from accredited university in science/engineering) required

- 8+ years of progressive expertise and experience with Java (v8-11+) development including Spring framework (Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot / Microservices) and Hibernate (JPA)
- 3+ years with UI, including TypeScript/Angular, including exposure to either NgRx, RxJS, or AD Grid
- 3+ years of proven experience building RESTful Web Services/APIs
- Ability to be a positive worker in an agile / scrum environment including test driven development, deployment and multitasking as required
- Strong communication skills, and an ability to work with junior team mates and provide learning experiences / mentoring will be required
