Job Details
Job Title : Splunk Engineer
Location : Tampa, FL // Jersey City NJ (Local Candidate Only)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Splunk infrastructure for log management, monitoring, and visualization.
- Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards, alerts, and reports for operational insights.
- Troubleshoot Splunk performance issues and optimize indexing, search, and storage.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Cloud teams to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Implement best practices for data ingestion, parsing, and correlation within Splunk.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Splunk administration and development.
- AUTOMATE PROCESSES AND CONFIGURATIONS USING PYTHON AND ANSIBLE.
- PROFICIENCY IN SCRIPTING (PYTHON).
- EXPERIENCE WITH ANSIBLE FOR AUTOMATION AND CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT.
- Good understanding of Linux environments.
Good to Have:
- AWS background or experience integrating Splunk with AWS services (CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.) will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
