Description
We are looking for a skilled Operations Technician to oversee and optimize the daily functions of our in-house Policy Management System in New York, New York. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless handling of policy documentation, endorsements, and payment processing for invoicing. The ideal candidate will act as the go-to expert for U.S. operations, offering guidance and support to both domestic and international teams.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations within the policy management system to ensure precision and timely handling of transactions.
Collaborate with brokers and clients to draft, update, and verify policy-related documentation.
Administer the full lifecycle of policy records, including endorsements and invoicing processes.
Provide training and assistance to global teams on system usage, ensuring adherence to standards and compliance.
Analyze operational data to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Design and maintain dashboards and reports using advanced Excel functionalities and visualization tools.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across various platforms, addressing system enhancement needs when required.
Contribute to system upgrades or transitions by offering expertise and operational support.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, data management, or policy administration, ideally within insurance or financial services.
Advanced skills in Excel, including VBA, and proficiency in the Office Suite.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Strong analytical abilities paired with meticulous attention to detail.
Proven expertise in managing and interpreting large datasets across diverse systems.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Ability to quickly adapt to and navigate various digital platforms and software applications.
