Minimum Requirements:
8 years - ETL development using Informatica IICS, IDMC, or Power Center.
8 years - Data integration from multiple sources (Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, PDF) for Tableau.
8 years - Complex SQL script development.
8 years - Systems analysis for data analytics or data warehousing projects.
8 years - Technical writing and diagramming (Visio, Erwin, MS Office, MS Project).
8 years - Software platform planning across multiple products/units.
8 years - Python scripting.
8 years - Agile sprint team experience.
8 years - JIRA software usage.

Preferred Experience:
6 years - Writing efficient, testable code using best practices.
4 years - Understanding of security principles in healthcare data.
4 years - Experience with performance metrics or BI environments.
4 years - Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
4 years - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
3 years - Experience in the healthcare industry.
2 years - Experience with HHS agencies.
2 years - Handling PII/PHI data.
2 years - Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, APIs).
2 years - Web services (REST, SOAP).

Summary:
The ETL Developer will support the development and enhancement of the HHS Data Integration Hub using agile methodologies.
This role involves analyzing business objectives, identifying solutions, automating data processes, and improving existing systems to support performance metrics and data visualization.

Key Responsibilities:
Understand business objectives and operational problems; identify and evaluate alternative solutions.
Perform cost/benefit analysis and feasibility studies for proposed solutions.
Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input/output requirements and operational procedures.
Write detailed documentation of user needs, program functions, and development steps.
Review system capabilities and limitations to assess feasibility of requested changes.
Design and develop complex SQL scripts for data transformation and integration.
Automate data acquisition using Informatica IICS, IDMC, or Power Center.
Support and enhance Java-based web applications and Tableau dashboards.
Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Develop mockups and validate with customers.
Produce and maintain technical specifications and documentation.
Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards (PII/PHI).
Perform testing (integration, load, stress) and support deployment activities.
