Responsibilities and Duties
- Guiding, Leading and Coaching the team on Agile/Scrum practices
- Building a trusting and collaborative team
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
- Assisting with internal and external communication
- Supporting and educating the Product Owners
- Providing all support to the team with strong leadership
Required Skills:
Scrum Master Certification (CSM or PSM I) with 5 plus years of experience as a Scrum Master. Working with software development teams applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. Good facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement.
- Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps.
- Experience as Scrum Master for software development teams - Knowledge of other Agile approaches.
- Previous experience as a team leader with excellent communication and mentoring skills is a plus
- BS degree or higher education is a plus.
- Outstanding communicator and have great interpersonal skills
- JIRA, Git, SharePoint, Informatica PowerCenter 10.1/9.6, Netezza, Aginity, Oracle 11g, Autosys, HP QC, Unix.
