Building Automation Systems Controls Technician/Programmer

BAS Programmer/Technician will work as part of a team which will be responsible for the installation, programming, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of DDC building automation systems. This position requires the ability to communicate clearly with customers, contractors, engineers, and fellow team members.

Job Duties:

1. Creation of software programs and animated front end graphics.
2. Checkout, start-up, and commissioning on projects.
3. Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
4. Must be familiar with various hand and power tools.
5. Performs service repairs, adjustments, and calibration on building systems.
6. Coordinate customer-training and assist in completing closeout documents
7. Provide technical support and direction to end-users and employees when applicable.

Job Requirements:

1. 3-5 years of experience with DDC Building Automation Systems, LON, BACnet, Niagara AX or N4.
2. Some flexibility to work overtime/weekends.
3. Proficient in reading wiring diagrams.
4. Both written and verbal communication skills a must.
5. Proficient with IP networks.
6. Valid driver s license with clean driving history.
7. Occasional travel may be required.

Min. Yrs. Experience: 3-5 years with Tridium Niagara Lonworks and BACnet Control Systems
Education: High School Diploma and/or Trade School
Certificates Required: Niagara AX or N4, Distech EC-gfx
